Minecraft not loading

When i downloaded PureBDcraft resource pack it was too big for my computer can u help

You can either just try deleting the resourcepack, of it that doesn't help go to your .minecraft folder open options.txt and find the line that begins "Skin:" and change it to Skin:Default

i cant delete it because mc wont even open
