So I have been trying to figure out how to install the Sphax texture pack and FTB mod onto my Macbook and I cannot figure it out. The video guide on here is for windows, which unfortunately doesn't help with this.
I have not modded or used texture packs before, so I am a bit out of my realm doing this, however I cannot even find where the folder is to possibly install these into. When I click to open the resource pack folder, it will only show for a split second then my finder redirects me to my main folders.

Anyone able to help me out?

In Mac you need to "Go To" a place (see this: https://osxdaily.com/2011/08/31/go-to-fo ... -shortcut/)

Then type ~/.minecraft and it should open your minecraft folder where the resourcepacks folder is.

Thank you, apparently to library folder is hidden which kept me from viewing the minecraft one ~_~

But, I do not know how to activate the mod? I got the texture pack running, but I do not even know if the mod is on.

*facepalms*

Me being dumb, sorry.

Feed the Beast isn't a mod. You just need to run the FTB_Launcher.jar and it will "install" to wherever the launcher is ran from.

Then you select the modpack you want and after a first run of it it makes it's own sub-folder and that will have a resourcepacks/texturepacks folder in.

Hmmm... well that would help a bit, I didn't really get a good explaination of when I saw someone playing FTB.

I'll let you know if i botched this in like 10 minutes
