Packs don't show up

I tried to install the 3D Blocks addon as well as the damaged items one, but when I put them into the resourcepack folder, exit it does not show up. I tried itmany different ways and watched many totorials, but it still does not work. What can I do?

I just tried it with a completly different pack, and it's not showing up either. Can someone help me?

Try dragging the zips in to the resourcepacks screen.
