Hello. First off I have to say that I love this resource pack and I think it is by far the best looking one I have ever found. But I am having some issues with it.
First issue is with disappearing water. The water texture seems to disappear from certain angles on the 256x resource pack while it's perfectly visible on the 512x one.

Also, as you can see in the 256x vs 512x images above, the textures are also not connected for some reason in the 512x one as they are in the 256x one.

Another issue I'm having is with the Damaged Items addon. It does not work in the 512x pack. If I load the 512x pack and then load the Damaged Items addon above it, the game removes all my resource packs and leaves only the default one. Any idea what could be causing that?
I am using the latest version of Java 64bit 1.8.0_191 along with OptiFine 1.13.2 HD U E4 and I've set the -Xmx argument to 16G so my game can use 16GB of RAM. My computer should also be more than powerful enough to be able to run everything smoothly since I have a Ryzen 7 1700 along with a Vega64 with the latest 18.9.3 WHQL drivers.

Others have stated that whilst using OptiFine and having VBO's enabled in the Options water sometimes disappears. So, you'll need to disable VBOs (or wait until OptiFine fixes the bug, or just not use OptiFine).

As for the packs being unloaded the 512x pack already uses nearly the entire 16,384 x 16,384 spritesheet. Once you add any addons it's pushing it over that limit so Minecraft has to unload them. This is the same reason there are no block transitions in 512x.

Nvidia 10 series and over cards seem to be the only cards so far that support a larger texture sheet (being 32,768 x 32,768 from what I know).

Our download page really needs a note about that for the 512x pack as it's a common issue people come up against.

Disabling VBOs worked and now I can see the water on the 256x pack, thank you ^_^. It's a shame the 512x pack can't have block transitions though :(
