I know there is already a topic about this but I still can't change the texture of the spruce door, if someone can help me?
I use minecrart version 1.16.4 with optifine in the same version

You can't really remove the ring easily. The shadows of it are baked in to the underlying texture.
The easiest way to do it currently would be to copy the texture from VanillaBDcraft and then delete any relevant json files from /assets/minecraft/blockstates/ and /assets/minecraft/models/block/ however, the colours of VBC's spruce aren't the same as PBC's.
