Too Many Textures?

General help with our resourcepacks, our website, or Minecraft - including mods.

Yes,uhm,hello. I would just like to say that if I use this texture pack (and I really wanna use it I love it so much omg)

If I look at too many mobs (like if somebody on a server has a farm) I crash. This issue didn't happen in 1.5. So help would be appreciated,thanks.

^Have you tried using a lower resolution of the TexturePack/ResourcePack?
If it works better with a lower resolution, try allocating more RAM to JAVA.

Have you tried Cubik?

Could be so many reasons...
The first one which come in my mind is because Minecraft 1.6 has changed a lot and maybe uses more RAM for textures than before...
Or maybe you use Mods in 1.6 that you didn't use before (or latest versions of Mods you currently use in 1.6 are buggy)?
