Trap Door Textures

Malisis Trapdoors mod & texture pack

Mod provides additional trapdoor textures i.e. spruce, birch, dark oak, etc. The textures show up in the NEI interface and crafting preview, but when I actually go to craft it, it's just the standard trapdoor. Is there anyway I can modify or repackage either texture pack to be able to use the textures included within the Malisis Trapdoors ?
