Image This mod adds a backpacks to the game.

Why should I use a backpack?
  • Many color variations. ( now *18* )
  • Magical backpack protects your hard-earned treasures: (safe & secure inventory)
  • Get organized and name the backpack!: (Right click backpack while sneaking to rename it. *Hold shift to sneak!*)
  • You go to a really big journey? Make your larger backpack.
  • in the next version will be a lot of surprises ?

10/04/2015 22:22 GMT [DeRigeurEx] for MC17-18:
add - New GUI (guiCombined.png) -Why not Gui in the normal PureBDcraft style?-
Gui inside must be squared because the volume of bags automatically calculated according to specified values (0-128 places), any shape creates graphical artifacts and second wrong things is "No scrollbar on GUI". Will be fixed in the next release, hopefully. For details, look here bugtracker
add - 3D model (backpack.png)
reworked - backpack_workbench.png, backpack_workbench_big.png (cleared and shaded)
add - adfly link

add Neerie and Novamanga updates to Backpack for MC15x-MC16-MC17
fix guibackpackALT.png to guiBackpackALT.png at Backpack for MC15x

Credits

Neerie - workbench backpacks (using CadenDonuts wrench from Buildcraft's patch)
Novamanga - for the combined GUI

It works for 1.6.2 already. You just have to put the Backpacks folder in the Assets folder rather than Mods.

So in your BDcraft zip it would look like assets/backpacks

Maybe what he/she means is the new Workbench Backpack. This patch doesn't have the Workbench GUI and the Workbench Backpack icon. :|

Ah, somehow I hadn't even noticed that particular backpack even existing. I learned something new. Thanks.

I made a 128x workbench backpack icon back in 1.5.X, so with a bit of tweaking and integration...
I will work on the 64x and 32x versions shortly, and probably will give a try to the GUI as well.

What you posted is a non-updated version of Zernicalo's textures for this mod, with the 1.6 file system, they are not the same textures as those of this thread (plus I already posted an updated version for these textures).

Anyway, an update on what I've been doing with this patch:
I have been trying to update the GUI, however due to the way the backpack mod creates it's GUI (basically creates ALL it's GUIs from one single template), I will need to spend a bit more time to find something that will fit the theme and also look asthetically pleasing.
