Are there any plans for PBR support with shaders?
I'm not sure what you mean by "PBR", but Trappel22 made a patch for use with SEUS shaders that might interest you:

Just yesterday I was thinking the same thing
I started working on my own PBR patch, so far I've got an automated tool for generating normal maps, however specular ones will take a lot longer, since it's pretty much impossible to automate those to look any good with different materials. I am going to work on it slowly, although using the labPBR format, since that offers an extra channel for details. I'll probably share it once I'm done
