I thought BoP already had flesh? Have they added another flesh block? It's not like it matters there's nothing I've seen in any mod patch that looks anything like the new netherrack and it's not like we called it "Flesh" either.

I was talking about the existing flesh block. It doesn't look like they've added another. However, you're right - the BoP flesh (either with the BDCraft patch for it or with default textures) is a lot pinker than the new Netherrack texture.

Edit: I finally entered the Nether in my 1.10 game, and I'm going to run the customizer to switch back to the warping bubbles texture, because after staring at the new animation for a while, it doesn't look like flesh to me - it looks like intestines. Apologies to anyone grossed out by that, but it grosses me out too.

I've noticed in the sidebar twitter section that PureBDCraft now has a 1.10r2 release, but it doesn't seem to have a changelog entry, making it hard to tell whether it's worthwhile to download the update. Also, I noticed in the "PureBDCraft Addons" section there's a "Technology" addon, which has a preview link, but the preview page doesn't seem to actually include any images clearly marked as showing what the Technology addon changes.

The r2 is important for people who use mods as it fixes issues with fences.

It also fixes an issue with Optifine.

The changelog should be updated soon.

There are no images for the tech addon on that linked page. Not sure why it's linked currently.

hey :)

I am wondering about the look water has behind glass now, it all looks bright blue bhind glass, and makes some areas look strange, I also noticed it in 1.9.

Anything that can be done about it ? or is it just me having this issue for some reason? and sry if it is already mentioned somewhere, I could not find anything.

The water behind glass will be fixed next release. We already knew about it. Just no one else has mentioned it until now ^.^;;

r3 has been released :)

If you use Optifine please make sure you update to C3 (as CTM requires it).

The Technology and Damaged Items addons have also been updated.

We've released Extra Optifine. You can check out how it works in this thread: https://bdcraft.net/community/unofficial ... t5632.html

Also, lastly, there are some additions to the Customiser :)

The nether was changed to make it look more like flesh as opposed to blood... because walking around on big lumps of blood doesn't really make sense.

However, if it particularly bothers you there's a link to a Customiser in the first post of this thread ;)

As for the magma block having the old lava texture I could add that to the customiser considering the old lava was meant to look like magma. Good idea ;)
I have another idea/request/suggestion along these lines. Would it be possible to make the new nether "flesh" texture animated? I always loved the wiggling bubbles for the blocks and the static flesh isn't as fun for me - though it is still a lovely texture - and now that I see the reason for the change, I would love a middle-ground.

Thanks for all the great work!
