Imo I dont think the new guis look very good, so please when updating the customizer add these as an option to switch between.

The new loom block looks awesome! but when you are in the menu of the block the staight vertical lines look very irritating and i know its not a bug but i personally dont like it that much (looks like a barcode).
I haven’t actually had the time to check it myself, but I’m assuming the GUI was made to resemble an actual loom. Looms have thick vertically-oriented threads that I don’t think ever get removed. If it’s that prominent though, perhaps fading them out a bit would help?

What do you think, Han?
In regards to both. We intend to supply some cleaner and flatters alts. The plan is for them to in their own addon though, as opposed to being in the customiser as it's likely you'll want everything flat and not just one or two UIs if you're going down that route.

The Stonecutter block has a missing texture, or blocks the texture it's sitting on, so it allows you to see through floor like a void.

Indeed. Already noted on the first post.

First of all, many thanks for your efforts in keeping this texturepack alive throughout the years!
With the missing textures currently in the works, do you have the original/vanilla 16x16 copy/pasted in instead as placeholders? or will we just see invisible/transparent blocks and MOBs?

PS: Are you considering a partial update with what you've made since 30/5, or are you not releasing an update until all the missing textures listed above have been made?

Minecraft has had individual textures for things since 1.5. If there’s no texture in the texture pack for a certain block or mob, it’ll automatically use the vanilla texture from the base game.

Come on we've been waiting for more than a month. When are you going to release the official revision?

Hi everyone, love the texture pack, looking forward to the new villager skins the most; the ravager is gonna be great to see too. The pillagers are awesome, really fun designs. :D Someone asked me to point them to BD after seeing the pillagers in a screenshot I had shared.

I've been using BD since 1.11, and joined to give my feedback on 1.14.

- The birch sign is very hard to see in the inventory UI. I actually avoid using them because of this.

- The 1.14 separation between ink sac and black dye is unfortunate. It made perfect sense before, but now when we craft Book & Quill we have to imagine someone using a piece of a squid's body to write, rather than the actual pot of ink we already had (that also says "INK"). I honestly forget and craft the little ink pot literally every time by mistake. It's also a bit mixed up in that Minecraft is now saying "Dye can dye things, ink cannot", yet the item that looks like and is labelled as ink can dye, and isn't connected to writing in books.

I think the visible ink pot should return to being the squid's drop, replacing the ink sac icon, and a black dye icon made to match the rest of the dyes. That would mean dropping the ink sac icon that BDCraft currently uses... a worthy sacrifice imo; it's the ink pot graphic (that says "INK") that's the cute one.

- The UI on the furnaces especially is a bit weird. I like the approach of having the new station visible as part of the UI, but the big white squares are kind of clunky and out-of-theme. Are they placeholders?

More importantly, coal blocks in a furnace are near impossible to see. You have to rely on the floating number, so viewing isn't as pleasant as it used to be.

- This last bit of feedback is really a request. As we know, the 1.14 villagers now have a badge on their front showing their status (Novice, Expert, etc). My request is that their new textures actually display that badge on the front AND back. Heck maybe even a whole belt.

If you work with villagers a lot you find yourself having to mess around so much just because you can't easily see a villager's status. There's nothing worse than waiting for villager AI to do what you need it to do. Making the badge more visible would save a lot of running around/waiting/having to click on a villager.

Thanks for the read. Keep up the good work. :)

Sadly that's just the colour of the sign. To me it doesn't blend that much, but there's not much we can really do that to change it besides totally adjusting the colour and then you'd get the colour disconnect from other birch objects.

After looking at the recipe changes the sensible option would be to remove the ink pot texture entirely in favour of a generic dye colour, and move the ink pot to the customiser for people who want to change it.

The white bits on the UI are Sphax adding obvious signposting for slots. When he originally did them I wasn't really happy with them either, but as was explained in my earlier post the "solution" will be that we'll release an Addon with simplified & cleaner UIs (basically bringing back the old ones).

As for the coal being invisible that's a difficult one to counteract due to the representation of the furnace block behind. Again that will likely be more visible in the simplified versions.
