Thanks, Sphax. I confirmed the spotted rabbits are fine in the latest 1.8.3 release.

One last thing, more of a feature request: Is there any way to theme the world border animation? It seems a bit pixelated and out of place compared to the rest of the resource pack.

hey miners,

the 1,8 version is great but i think the granit, andesit and diorit skin have to be new created. granit ist not only red. it has white quarz crystal in it and black dots for the pyroxene. andesit and diorit too. you better orient on the minecraft basic skin.

thank u

Love this texture pack very much! Have been using it since 1.5.

My only question a the moment is, with the torches, my flame effect is not appearing on torches outside around 5-10 blocks from me. Is this due to needing MCpatcher (which isn't ready for 1.8 yet)to patch minecraft for HD textures? I know 1.7 the effects worked fine from even really far distances (particles set to ALL), but at the moment, it is unnerving to see torches be dead and then suddenly have the flame effect when I get near them. Also, the flame appears to be almost inside the new model. Anyone else having these issues? Thanks! And again love the work!

That's a problem with default textures as well. Another issue Mojang have made with their new rendering engine I guess.

I pretty much fell in love with the prismarine textures but I looked at some other texture packs as well and yes I still enjoy this one the most I just wish there was some more 3D textures... I've seen them everywhere now and it just feels a bit lacking in sphax for 1.8... grant it I loved the sugar canes and kind of just really want to see more things like that, no more 2D things in a 3D game... or 2D things on the ground like flowers. I'm sorry if I'm a bit wanty or something but I'm kinda still bouncing off the wall and stuff from beating a monument on hard with iron armour and stuff.

PureBDcraft is not a pixelated ResourcePack and so contains textures designed to fit a theme: Comics or Cartoon. In a comic or a cartoon, shapes are never pixelated or cubic... So PureBDcraft will have 3D Models but those will not be added if the result is not as good as expected or destroy this feel of "smoothness", "curved" and "not blocky" when possible.

In Minecraft, 3D models must be composed of Cubes or Planes. That means you'll never see a sphere or a triangle in 3D in resourpacks. That means the result is very limited.

As you may know, Cubik (by BDcraft) is the first tool which has been created for 3D Models in Minecraft. So PureBDcraft will have 3D Models for sure. As many as possible, if and only if the 3D Model don't destroy the comic feel of the pack and don't make it looks too "blocky".

That's why some blocks will probably never have 3D Models like flowers, grass and blocks that have a texture which can't be reproduced in 3D because of not pixelated look.

Have you tried Cubik?

Can I just say, that the new grass texture is horrible?
I love Sphax, going all the way back to 1.2.5, but this is not that good IMO.
Does anyone know how to get the old grass texture?
Also, can I remove the bdc grass, dirt and all the other things?
Also, if I remove the model folder, do the 3d textures go away?
Can I get the old torch texture back? I liked the old Sphax much much much better.
And why are tools and items held upside down? It doesn't make any sense whatsoever
Someone please please help me

But remember,

The only part I miss is the fire of the torch really. The rest, I can't find a better texture yet.

Oh, I sense my distance view is limited somehow while texture is up... Anything in my configs maybe? (Without any texture my view distance is farther.

I liked the old pack sooo much better! *cries*
Especially the grass, wood, leaves and torches..

Anyways, the mushrooms on pictureframes are not flat like they used to be, is that on purpose?
