I see the BDcraft texture pack is free for download here, and purchasable in the marketplace. What's to keep people from downloading the resource packs for free and using them in the bedrock edition, avoiding having to buy them?

Nothing really, except the large amount of work we put in to making sure lots of little details actually work in Bedrock, such as the custom UI and certain minor custom texture fixes.

People have already used converters and the results aren't great.

Good point. I hadn't logged into the Bedrock version until today and I noticed there was a ton of different interface stuff going on. So I guess a Java resource pack wouldn't really work well eh?

That's a bit reassuring, thanks :)

Follow up to the "why not just use Java", I bought the Marketplace version because THANK FREAKIN GOODNESS I hate dealing with those ad-link things, and I'd much prefer a "Marketplace" solution to the common community ad-link way of dealing with distribution. BDCraft was my first Marketplace purchase for both my wife and me.
