Hi guys,

I have a Minecraft Realm setup on xbox one using the PureBDCraft resource pack and i believe the version of the pack im using is the 128x version. After the new texture pack update came to consoles, i noticed that in the nether both the new piglin mobs and the normal zombie pigman (the pigs that hold the gold swords) have completely messed up textures to the point where they appear to load incorrectly. At first i thought this was a problem with my realm settings so i changed the resource texture pack back to the default and could see both the default piglin and pigman textures loaded fine, however after reapplying the BDcraft pack, their textures are all messed up again.

As far as i can see, these are the only textures within my game that are completely messed up and can confirm its happening on both bedrock for xbox and switch. This started happening the moment the resource pack updated for new textures in the nether update. I just wanted to ask is this a known issue for the resource pack and is it going to be fixed in a future update?

Any response would be brilliant. thanks :)

There was a release in the past 2 hours that fixed this.

Oh really? I was playing on my realm about an hour ago and it hasn't been fixed yet. I will give it some more time before checking again. Thanks for the fast response though!

Just to note here, the version of the pack I have downloaded on xbox one is 1.0.35 but the textures are still messed up. Not sure if the update has been fully processed by microsoft yet as there isint a option to update the pack.

Sadly version numbers don't mean much to me as they're automatically created by Microsoft.

It's possible old resources are being applied to your world/realm. You may need to reapply the pack to it to update properly.

Sorry for the continuous posts here but I'm having alot of trouble with updating my realms texture pack.

I have downloaded my world and applied the correct texture pack to confirm that everything was working (glitched pig textures are fixed offline) and I reuploaded my world to my realm by using the replace world option. I have now loaded the world on my realm again to find the piglin textures are STILL bugged out. I'm not sure what else to try as the fixed textures are working offline but not online. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Update: still not working. It looks like the realm has the old version of the texture pack on there but there is literally no option to change this to the one that works. At this point I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft and redownloaded everything to do with bdcraft. After that I have relaunched the world and it's given me a prompt asking me to download the resource pack even though I already have it. I've noticed the file size for the pack it's asking me to download is smaller than the latest version so it appears that the old bugged texture pack is engraved into my Minecraft world and i cannot remove it.

Final update: I have tried everything and this is not a problem with the bdcraft pack itself but more like a bug in the bedrock edition. The realm is stuck with the old version of the texture pack that has the glitched textures and will NOT let you change them even if you use the download and replace method. The realm just prompts you to download the old version of the pack. This is apparently a known bug that has been completely ignored by mojang but unfortunately this has completely ruined my experience with Minecraft and the only way for me to play this realm without it being deleted completely is to delete all traces of my realm and create a new one. Completely stupid that I have to do this.

I've had some issues with re-uploading the realm and textures were messed up. This is how I fixed it and might help you.

Download the world and locate the files on your HDD
(C:\Users\(your pc username)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\)
Always create a backup of the files!
Remove resource_packs folder and world_resource_packs.json and world_resource_packs_history.json
In Minecraft add the new texture pack (make sure you don't have double texture packs and that it's up to date)
Backup the realm!
Re-upload the world to your realm.

There seems to be an issue with Realm saving up Resource pack in the history file and not removing the info even if you remove texture pack.

Hope this helps
