I'll take a look and see if I can't update the patch for 1.6.2. The Texture Storage might not be that different

Made some ghast & silver fish recolors for the Ur-Ghast Tower, not the best since I don't how to "Sphax". These are to help fill the missing ones while people with more skill make good ones. I did the spider but it didn't save. :( Anyway here you go:

EDIT: You may not want to update thaumcraft since its getting redone a bit. My favorite mod too :).

I've just been trying out making a new texture on the knightly things today/yesterday actually. I used the basic sphax chainmail as the base but the plate bits are completely new, mostly based on sparkst3r's video example, though I think I might have gone overboard in places with using layer styles.

Anyway, here's the 1024x512 png, and a link to the 2048x1024 PSD file in case someone wants to mess with it, be warned it's mostly paths though and for some reason when I resize it some of the paths go wonky, not sure what I did to cause that.

Wow! Great textures! Can't wait to see what else you create! Also they look gear in game :).
EDIT: Re-Downloaded the pack, most mobs have been textured but some kinda poorly, they looking scratchy and not sphax-y. Hope someones will do something about it. Such as some beetles and such. They look more HD-ish default versions then sphax versions.They look great in-game. Minoshroom's face doesn't show up fyi. Also firefly & tome are not textured so don't forget them! (And a few items) The one thing I will change is the ghasts they just look weird in my opinion.They're growing one me :). Oh I will change the borer, since the fuzz on your guys one isn't textured.

I didn't actually do the minoshroomtaur but I had a look and see what you mean. I think the layout of the textures must have changed in twilight forest at some point because the default head is in a different location. These should fix it.


Regarding the mob textures, I agree some of them aren't great, for the majority of them I was just using whatever methods I could think of to try and replicate a sphax look and often not doing so well. I'll have a go at making some of them better now I understand the process a little more.

Make sure to have experiment115.png.mcemta
With "{ "animation": {}}"
I may try and redo some of the mobs, to look more sphax-y, such as the beetles and the hydra. Chances are that I won't though XD.
