I think an animation could go a long way towards making smoldering grass look great, pulsating embers.
I might have a shot at it if I find some time.

For some reason i can't install 1.5.x patch properly.
I am using MC 1.5.2 and BoP 0.5.5 and when i move the "assets" folder (from patch zip) into my BDcraft zip i can't see any changes in MC at all.
also..when i click "1.5.x Patch by snake2332 (64x)" the file is labeled "Sphax_BoP[1.6.x][64x].zip" Is that supposed to happen?

First of all I want to thank everyone who put work into this patch. I use a variety of mods, and it always breaks my heart a little to see a low-res original texture thrown in next to the rest.
I was wondering, though, if someone could make a alt for the cloudblock texture (don't remember the name off the top of my head). Something a little more continuous, less stickery, if that makes sense. Like, a 'solid' semitransparent block instead of the current one, more like the original.
It looks rather strange in large quantities, as is.
I was not going to say anything, just use the original texture (oddly enough due to the mostly transparent nature it does not look quite so out of place as most) but I see other textures being brought up, so I thought I'd add my two cents.

Well I tip my hat to IamProvacateur but i ran into this problem the other day with the spring water and celestial crystal blocks in the promise land.(didn't have textures even said missing texture not ev en the vanilla textures)

64x resolution with 1.6x version (inside a 1.5.2 game because the format is the same except for assets and mods)
