I will fix that now :)
The reason I left out the assets folder is because I assume most people will ultimately just drag the dartcraft folder into their existing Sphax/assets, but I agree that the assets folder should be there to make it a true patch and also to adhere to convention.
Well, it's mainly because the assets folder needs to be in the root of the resource pack for the textures to work. And if the mod patch has the same file structure it allows the patch archive to drag extract its assets into the full resource pack without having to open the resource pack archive as well with winrar or w/e. It also may allow the patch to be used as a test resource pack for the individual mod if a texturer wants to test the mod on its own for holes. I dunno, there may be easier methods out there for testing or combining patches on the fly. I usually do it the harder way, me thinks, and having the assets folder inside a patch just makes it easier for me to use.

Okay, first GUI texture done (The Forceaflouge Block Interface). I've updated my download link to include it, the one from a few posts ago. For some reason Dartcraft uses the top level folder for GUI textures rather than a gui folder. If @NintendoFan37 is okay with the quality, I will proceed with the rest of the GUI textures (It is my first texture after all). Now that I have vectors for all of the bits and bobs, doing the rest should be a lot faster.

Sure thing. I will post a link once they're in a more reusable state.

Here's a link to my psd with a vector version of the chest GUI. Parts of it can be moved around and chopped up to make most common minecraft GUIs. I tried to get it as perfect as possible, but a true pixel perfect vectorization is always difficult.

I need to learn how to use psd vectors in GIMP :/; cause I feel like I'm missing out on something cool.

Just wondering if the Force Liquid has been completed? because when I put it on the ground via Force Bucket I see a black/purple checkered texture(with and without Optifine same results) also showing the same in NEI fluid registry; I saw the texture image in the patch for liquid am I doing something wrong?

I believe black/purple texturing is a default texture if the mod creator didn't link the texture correctly or if there is no texture....interesting

Or if the .mcmeta is missing for an animation, or the .mcmeta is mal-formed, or if a texture is an irregular shape, or if a texture is part of a small sprite sheet and it's missing.

The checkered texture just basically means "error" :P
