Had a go at the ethereal glass using BonaireDreams glass as a template.

Came up with this:

Was happy with this until I tried it in game and found the transparencies don't render.

Tried again and made these:

The top one doesn't look so good on this white background but in game is fine. Needed something to stand out from the inside texture as it all started to blend and look like a spiders web. Feel free to add them if you want.

Laruae, Bobst3r came onto the tinkers thread asking me to change the coloured bricks from that mod. I was a little confused as there are no such bricks in tinkers. I then figured out he was referring to the coloured bricks from this mod.

He was saying the bricks don't render the colours the same as the vanilla mod textures.

I've had a play around with the brick texture and came up with this.

I've tested it in game and its a lot closer to the original colours the mod creates. Add it to the pack if you like.

Whilst doing the above brick texture I thought I'd start messing around with some more stuff. So I made these:

I've moved the tank texture to the side as I felt it looked a whole lot better there, plus most people connect to the top and you lose the texture anyhow. Just my view. Again feel free to add then if you want.

Credit to:
CadenDonuts for the Buildcraft pump texture and
HanFox for the Thermal Expansion texture.

One day I might do something original... :P

Does anyone happen to have even WIP textures for the new Ender Lily plant and seeds? They're an awesome addition, one of the more balanced Ender Pearl helpers out there, and I've been using them quite a bit... but the vanilla textures are especially unsightly against a Sphax backdrop!

I fear a real texture artist will have to tackle them, as my Dr. Frankenstein approach to stitching existing textures into something new hasn't been able to dig up enough parts to do them justice :)

Hi, there is a lot of cool stuff there :D
I think maybe i could try to update it to 1.6.4, add some textures, change some others and do it in x512 ? ;)

Wait.. is this not already 1.6.4 ready? Is there a format difference between 1.6.2 and 1.6.4?
Sorry but I totally don't know what goes on under the hood when it comes to texture packs. Seems to me that a lot of times the artwork is done but just needs to be shuffled around or something.

[edit] Well, I tried the download from the OP and it definitely does not work with 1.6.4.
Looking forward to the fix. The textures look pretty good in the zip file.

The problem is the folder structure needs to be corrected. This old version calls the mod folder "extrautilities", while the mod itself calls the folder "extrautils".

It's not brain surgery, but these things need to be compared and adjusted as needed before they'll work properly in 1.6x.

This may be a dumb question, but how do you know that the mod calls the folder "extrautils"? Is there anywhere I can look to determine what a mod expects its folders and texture files to be called? If I understood such things, I might be able to fix up some of these old 1.5.2 patches for 1.6.4 myself.

They're standard zip files. Open them up and see for yourself how they're structured.

If you keep the folder structure for the textures consistent between the mod and the texture patch, as well as the texture files themselves (modders love renaming files for some reason), 9 times out of 10 an outdated patch will work just fine in 1.6.
