You're right about the Cropnalyzer GUIs I'll fix them after I check about the Uranium.

Whereas the original files may say that it doesn't mean that's correct. I would have named it wrong for a reason. Most likely that the mod is looking for it the way I wrote it and not the other way, but like I said I'll need to confirm it.

As for the pixels on the GUIs... meh :P

Fixed the Cropnalyzer GUI. Don't see Uran238Small at all in game, so... if it is in and it's hidden from TMI then please post a screenshot showing it not being textured.

Well, again, I feel like I must apologize for being so obsessed with details. But this time I am right under some specific conditions. Allow me to explain:

If you use an unpacked (not in a ZIP file but in a regular folder) resources pack, file names are NOT case sensitive. As long as you have the right file name, it will load just fine in Minecraft.

If you ZIP the pack however, this time, file names ARE case sensitive.

Note that the file I was referring to was "itemUran235small" not "itemUran238Small" which, you are right, is currently unused in IC2.

I thoroughly tested this under Windows with Minecraft 1.6.4 and the latest IC2 available for this version. Among the MODs I am using, OptiFine 1.6.4_HD_U_D1 and latest Forge for 1.6.4 are present.

I cannot confirm that this problem is there for any other version of Minecraft, OptiFine, Forge or operating system, namely, Linux or Mac OS. But since the setup I tested with is probably used by many Minecraft players... why not fix what is easily fixable to offer a smooth experience for people who might not be familiar with all the ZIPping and MODing and file naming. ;)

I submit this argumentation to you with due respect.

Windows likely doesn't care when unzipped because Windows is stupid and doesn't differentiate between capitals and lowercase anyway whereas every thing else does. i.e. I on Linux I can rename a file with 300 mixes of capital letters and they'd happily co-exist. e.g. Uran.png, uRan.png, etc.

Anyway, fixed. Thought you were talking about 8 not 5 :P

Hehe...

This is true Windows is stupid. As to be backward compatible they say. This file naming convention date back to the MS-DOS era... Heck, you can't even rename or create a folder starting with a period: Like ".minecraft"
Have to use "third party" applications to do it. Hard to believe but true.

I am out of topic now... I should go see if I am somewhere else...

I am done pestering you HanFox... for now! :dork:

Our consumer computing all together is trash compared to our actual knowledge. Old Binary itself is outdated and needs to be replaced by more aggressive styles...however, because that would entail changing everything...it won't get done for a long time :( There's already been plenty of research/development/tinkering done with these types of computing that would enhance processors greatly.

@Galenmacil To clear up a misconception, you CAN use the windows command prompt to easily create a filename/folder with a period in front of it. Create a file with the context menu and then use the "ren" command to rename it anything you want, essentially.

Case and point:

Or, easier, non-cli way you just call it ".minecraft." and Windows drops the last dot ;)

Neat! Thanks for the knowledge. :D

P.S.: This lead me to analyze my behaviors about "things I think I know..." Too often, I take the path of "I know this for sure so this must be true!" (try uttering this sentence with a deep, confident voice).

Note to self: I need to put affirmation in perspective from now on. Try using "I think..." or "I can't..." instead of brutal "That is how it works..." and "It's impossible to..."

Glad it's fixed anyway, since I use Ubuntu Linux, not Windows ;)
