Hi,
I was hoping someone would have some ideas as to why I'm getting vanilla textures for Metallurgy's sulfur ore. I'm running just a few mods that play well together, but perhaps there is a conflict I'm unaware of?

Show
Biomes O Plenty
Extra Tic
HungerOverhaul
IguanaTweaks
KeithyUtils
MapWriter
Metallurgy 3.1 (with Precious and Fantasy turned off)
PlayerAPI
Smart Moving
Tinkers Construct
Tinkers Mechworks
Useful Food
and now NEI and WAILA

The texture is intact in the texture folder. I'm out of ideas being not very knowledgeable about these things. Help is greatly appreciated!

And thank you so much for all the work that's been put into these wonderful textures!

Thanks!

Are you positive that it is correctly named?
The file has to be the same name and I had that with a few of these metallurgy textures.

Hmm, good idea.
I checked in the mod file, it calls the texture "SulfurOre", and that's the same as in the texture pack.
Is there somewhere else it should match?

Thanks, btw, for helping!

have you checked upper and lower case in the file name?
also make sure that the folder structure is the same.
have you tried to replace the texture by another block (dirt or something else)?
running out of ideas...

Chances are LittleBear is using MC 1.6 and there are no downloads available for that.....until now.

These are just recompiled versions of the MC 1.5 versions in the Op. So there are loads of textures not done and this is far from complete.

Edit: These downloads do not contain the vanilla textures of the armour, weapons and tools. If you require these you will have to add them to the pack yourself. Sorry, that's the rules. :( As Hazado points out 2 posts down you can change the config so the mod does not over right the vanilla textures to get around this problem.

Metallurgy 3 for MC 1.6 Feel free to add this to the Op.

It's not allowed Novamanga. It's redistribution no matter how you look at it.

Your links have been removed until you rectify them.

Novamanga, there is a config option to use the vanilla tool textures in Metallurgy 3.
Just need to change it and it wont use the metallurgy 3 ones anymore.

Thanks for all the help all.
The folder structure and upper/lowercases are the same.
I'm running minecraft 1.6.4 and metallurgy 3.3.2.

I don't understand though. If the texture is there in the file (I opened it in PS and everything, it looked fine) why can't the game/mod use it? Also discovered some tin ore and it was vanilla minecraft textured as well.

Anyway, thanks so much to Novamanga for the 1.6 uploads that resolved the problem. I guess I don't have to understand it to enjoy it! :) Amazing work!
