Do you mind if use a nether armour as a base texture? I'm doing the aether textures and need to make the armours.

Had a minor tinker with the Utility ore textures:

I brought the Saltpeter, Magnesium and Sulphur in line with other mods, just to unify things a little. For the others I simply tried some new shapes/shading. :)
Vector versions of all the current Metallurgy ores can be found in the following PSD, including dense versions: Let me know of any issues

Reuploaded the previous Nether metals zips, Kalendrite ore wasn't named properly. D'oh!

Robotthunder500: you can use the nether textures as a base but please make sure you make significant changes to them so the don't look like you copied them.
Grumpy pirate: these are marvelous, I will test them for a bit and my finals just finished so I'll have time, I should have everything updated on the OP by the end of the weekend. Thank you so much. Was there anything else you wanted to do? I'm down for it.

The zips are setup wrong.

The assets folder needs to be at the top of the zip with the pack.mcmeta. Not a folder called "Metallurgy4_1.7_128x".

Also, you need to delete all the __MACOSX folders and .DS_Store files from the zips.

This is the same for all the other zips, too. As you've rehosted them.

Lastly, don't spoiler all the old links. It's a bit unfair to just hide all the previous work.

That was it really - if there's anything in particular you'd like me to take a look at, then give me a shout.

Grumpy pirate! i have some info on adding your utility textures, and i have a slight stipulation with them, as they do not match the texture they become when you mine them. I like them, don't get me wrong, and most of them are very accurate to the ores IRL, but if you could create new textures that look like the ores you made? then i would for sure add them all. Here is a picture of it so you can see, the top picture is your new ones and the old ones are the bottom picture.

Agreed - this was bugging me too. I'll try to get some new textures made for the item versions soon - the sulphur could be pulled from say, railcraft in the meantime.

ashow9, as you're on discussing texture changes does that mean you now have the time to fix the file structure as we previously discussed?

If you don't fix it soon I'll have to remove the 1.7 downloads, which I'd rather not do.

Excuse my ignorance, but from reading most of the last pages of the thread, it seems you'd have to tinker with the zip files and other sorts to get this working in 7.10, correct? Can someone guide me on what to do since i'm sort of a n00b when it comes to minecraft mods atm and is there a current release I need to have other than from the metallury page here: https://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patch ... t1198.html
