I just found out that the portal isn't working properly, My Development Console is saying:

the portal.properties has the following information: Show

method=ctm


It says its not a animation... is there a something I can do to make the textures work without deleting the portal.properties file. Is there something that needs to be changed to make it work?

Hello, I'm having a bit of probleman with the random mob thing... I have optifine installed e everything looks fine.... but all mobs are like missing parts... some mobs only have legs.. others have just the head and one arm... I dont know why..... the texture folder is original from de download section and I add the more connected textures from this links too!!!

could someone help?

From your screenshot you've added more than just textures. I would start back at a fresh install of vanilla, make sure you don't have the issue, add forge, optifine, and the sphax textures, then add in mods a few at a time until the issue shows up again.

Are you using the latest version of Direwolf and the latest Spax texture pack for Direwolf? I seem to remember one of the mods included in Direwolf had a problem with this that has since been updated.

If you are then, I would still start over with a fresh install of Direwolf and nothing else. Then add in parts - optifine, sphax base textures, sphax direwolf pack, CTM - and play for a while before adding each part to see when the issue shows up.

I have one more question, I dont know if should be here but...

like some biomes have a change of color/gradient on some block like cobblestone is lighter or darker in some areas, but the blocks inside cobblestone like an ore from metallurgy does not change to the same color gradient and looks off an ardite ore in a cobblestone lighter color all surrounded by darker cobblestone... is there a way to fix that ?

This was brought up elsewhere, and someone gave an informed explanation for why that is - but the short answer is: no, there is nothing that can be done about it (without extensive coding changes anyway).

Basically Optifine and MCPatcher do not support "Custom Colors" for mod blocks (quite possibly just blocks with IDs higher than 255). Whether it's a lot of coding or not just depends on how hard it is to extend the config to custom blocks/> 255.

The easiest fix though is just to turn Custom Colors off.

is there a place where I could learn how CTM works ? liki all the files.properties that the CTM folder has.... block1.properties.... block5.properties......Etc.

The OP has a spoiler under What does each file do? that says what most, if not all of them, relate to.
