Ok, just make sure you keep the existing links in an "old releases" section and credit Galenmacil. Like you said I don't think he'll be back any time soon and if he does come back, we can always assign him the thread.

You are now the proud owner of this thread :)

In either MCPatcher or Optifine (whichever you use) disable Custom Colors.

Great work Llama Farmer!

It is an honor to have you take over the Simple Ores texture patch. I must admit, I wasn't too existed about the changes in Simple Ores 2.

That is just my humble opinion but I thought the author made some bad decision by removing silver armors/tools/weapons in favor of bronze, which is already existing in at least 2 mods, namely Forestry and Industrial Craft 2.

Here, said. Now things must go on. 8)

P.S.: I am keeping the file alive on my MediaFire account. Just for posterity. The links on the main post points there. Some nostalgic peoples might be interested in 1.4.7 or 1.5.2... who knows.

That's cool. Now that I think about it though, I probably should've contacted you about whether or not you want me to host them (to free up your space, if you wish) or just keep 'em on your account. I'm fine either way, so just message me if you ever want me to host them.

On a side note, I'm in the progress of updating the patch at the moment (but leaving the original Simple Ores patches as they are). I'm essentially re-doing everything, mostly just tracing (but also fixing up some iffy colour issues I made when I took over a while back), so that I can re-release in 512x. This update won't be for a while though, as I'm focusing on Tropicraft at the moment.

Regarding the Resources pack hosting for version 1.4.7 and 1.5.2, I think, since you are now the owner of the thread, it would only make sense that you host all the files. It as nothing to do with freeing up space on my Mediafire account (I think I am barely above 500mb out of 50gb).

As far as I am concerned, you can go ahead and do anything you see fit with the old version I did for Simple Ores 1. :)

Ok Galen, I'll download your .zip files and re-host them later today. I'll post here when I've changed the links.

Uploaded the patches to my own account now, and I've switched over the links in the OP. :)

The Simple Ores 2 mod has 3 pieces to it, theres the normal Ores part (thanks for the excellent patch), the Fusion part (again thanks for the patch) and then theres the Netherrocks part.

Will you be doing the Netherrocks for 128 as well please?

I do hope so as your work is so good, thank you.
TG.
