I did the molten metals as recoloured lava back over at the old thread if you want to use those

Here they are. The all use the lava or lava flow anim file (I tried to include them but my computer was messing about, this isn't needed with optifine anyway). Take them or leave them, I personally think they look better than recoloured water. https://imgur.com/a/EYF4o#0

Step 1. Open patch zip file.
Step 2. Locate assets folder
Step 3. Open sphax zip file (the originial sphax file for vanilla MC).
Step 4. Drag assets folder from patch zip to vanilla zip.

this is what my sphax file looks like with patches. Ensure you are using the correct versions.

SemperArdeat which version of the files are you using? 1.5 or 1.6. Plus if you are using 1.5 and optifine then your MC will crash. Simple as that. There is a well documented issue with 1.5 optifine where it will crash with folders containing over 1024 files, which this has. Hope this helps.

Also 4gb of ram may not be enough. Tinkers adds over 3000 files and at 128x may be pushing your system to the limit. When I am playing the Unleashed pack at 128x my system is using around 6 to 8gb.
If anyone would like to take over any of my threads please contact me. I will continue to host what I have done but expect no further updates.

the ram runs like a charm i have the mod in with 33 others and i have little lag, all my mods and there textures are 1.6.2 and i know its not the item ids as it runs perfectly on its standard textures i am increasing the ram up to 8gb in a few weeks but i doubt thats causing it.

Then assign more RAM
If you can't, then you'll need to use the 64x resolution.

No, the RAM being used is entirely dependent on how many mods you have installed with the associated textures. If you can't run minecraft with more then 1.1GB of RAM, then you need to remove some mods or just stick with vanilla textures.

Iv been having issues with the 128x version of tinkers. I was getting really bad FPS shutter with the 128 version in my texture pack. After removing just tinkers from the texture pack the stuttering was gone. Is this due to not enough ram because i was giving it 4-6 gigs of ram?

Edit: I forgot to say im on MC 1.6.4 and using tinkers 1.4.7d7
