All the items seem to have a weird transparency to them, see the imgur link below, I'm guessing this isn't how it's supposed to look:

It isn't Optifine's fault. It's the way Novamanga resizes textures. Sadly he doesn't use a method that removes the semi-transparent pixels that occur on resizing textures.

I'm surprised more people don't note the issue really.

GrumpyPirate's resizing script would be one solution: https://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patch ... t5230.html

I've tried to use this before but could not get it to work. I have no idea about Javascript or how to debug this. It is well beyond my understandings.

At the moment I use GIMP with the BIMP plugin for resizing. If anyone knows the best settings for this to get a resize without the transparencies please let me know.

When setting up BIMP's settings add a "Manipulation Set" called "plug-in-threshold-alpha" and set it to 50%.

Baring in mind this means any things that are meant to be semi-transparent will have to be batched seperately.

Ok. I'll try that

Edit - Ok. I have redone the item textures for MC1.12 64x and 32x. Let me know if these are better.

I would check them in-game, but my Minecraft with mods only runs about 10% of the time and today's a day it's just not gonna load.

Regardless, just looking at the pngs they definitely look better.

Going forward it'd be great if you also can find the time to run it over any blocks that require it as things like the smeltery tank still have semi-transparent textures which cause a weird effect when you look at it in game, but no rush. Fuzzy items are way more annoying imo :)

Ok, went through the blocks and anything else I thought needed redoing. Some feedback on the new resized textures in 1.12 please :)
