this patch doesnt work. when i try to use it in minecraft i get a load of red writing in the console saying theres textures missing then crashes the client to desktop. ive installed it properly and cant work out whats wrong with it. even if it has missing textures it should still work, just with vanilla textures.

Which version have you used? (32x, 64x or 128x) Can you write step by step how you tried to install it?

Im going through the same thing as econerd here. Followed your instructions, moving all the folders into the assets folder.

I assume that the minecraft folder in the actual pack is not suppose to be the only folder once patched? Lest I'm doing something wrong, you'd better fix either the pack or your instructions.

I know its not the sounds either, as they work perfectly fine.

Please fix it, as I'd really like to use spax for this modpack.

Which pack have you tried that I can try to reproduce it?

I used the 128x for 1.6.4

Weird enough, I cannot seem to add sphax patches to the original pack, but I can add the sound packs. It seems that adding the patch and then trying to use the pack will not let me use it. It will freeze MC, which after a few seconds goes to the default resource pack. Not sure If I'm doing something wrong, but it just isn't working for me.

You have to increase the RAM. It works with 2GB for me. So change the RAM to 2GB in the Options tab of the FTB Launcher and if you can't then use the 64x version.

The ram is not the problem. For some reason it says something along the lines of cannot access texture. I also run MC with 4-6GB of ram, so thats out of the question
