Over 14 Months of developement(and still going) have formed a wonderful and balanced Modpack around Extended Crafting Tables and Artisan Workshops.
This Pack comes with a large variety of powerful Magic and Technic mods. They are all balanced in each other.
Use Magic Mods to give you advanteages in terms of Technology and vice versa! At a certain Point you will need to follow both paths to build powerful things.
All Machines require items from different mods and are crafted in big Workbenches. (5x5, 7x7, 9x9) You will need a lot of resources if you want to master everything!
Also, there are a lot of Exploration and Adventure mods to have as much fun as possible! You will find a lot of usefull stuff.. believe me, it's worth it!
Currently there are 1550+ Quests
The quests are custom made to fit perfectly in with the modpack. Most of the quests have rewards which help you along with other quests. These quests guide you through the pack, helping you reach the end objective.

How to Install

Show
Please understand this is an addon for the PureBDcraft texture patch which will need to be downloaded separately here. Place both of these in your resourcepacks folder and select both to get the textures in game. It is best to have the modpack patch above the PureBDcraft in the resources screen as this pack has Malisis Doors and the door textures will look weird is you do not.

Known issues
1. Make sure you have allocated enough RAM to the game to run a large texture pack. This will vary depending on the resolution you have selected. The numbers below are a guide and need more or less depending on your computer.

128x - This will usually require Optifine to work and at least 14 - 16 GB of RAM allocated. Optifine may cause rendering issues. If this is the case download the 64x version and remove Optifine.

64x - Allocate 8 to 10 GB.

32x - Allocate 6 - 8 GB

If after using these you still cannot get the patch to run, use a lower resolution.

2. When selecting the new packs the first time the way the Texture Atlas (The large sheet Minecraft transfers all the textures to for use in game) may not form correctly, causing textures to appear in the wrong place. Restart the game, this will let Minecraft load the textures on to a clean Texture Atlas and hopefully will fix any glitches.

3. For any other issues please see the Help Centre page.

I tried my best to get 128x running, but unfortunately it just wasn't meant to be. Textures didn't load, Minecraft had blown past 19GB eaten, it was unfortunate. If anyone has any advice related to recommended Optifine settings I would greatly appreciate it and maybe try to get 128x running again.

However 64x looks amazing! There are a handful of missing textures here and there, but overall the texture coverage is excellent. Performance-wise I hardly notice 64x at 12GB, which is what I had the pack running at prior to installation. Things look beautiful and I appreciate the work done putting this together.

Hi there, HD textures required a lot of RAM, especially in packs like this with a lot alot of mod textures, personally, I have to allocate 32G of ram to make the game run fluently with Optifine installed. If 19G is your limit, try using 64x texture instead. :D

Been using this for a while without problems, but last update to the modpack and this texture pack seems to be bugging out my game, without going into this patch all I can say is its this pack sadly. I can play fine with the Vanilla texture pack for DB, but soon as I add this pack as well... thats when I can't load into my worlds, old or brand new, just crashes :(

Knowing what resolution and how much RAM you have allocated would really be useful to know. I have 11GB allocated for the 64x patch if that's any help. See the posts above for info about the 128x.

I do have just over 9GB set to it, though I don't know why it was working before maybe I had the lower one than 128... We need a Download history here :P - I shall give the lower one a go just in case though!

Hello :) Long time fan and user of the BDcraft packs, had to admit defeat and switch down to a lower resolution pack as my PC is getting on a bit. First time using the x32 today and the DD&SS patch in particular but I seem to have an issue. I don't have the mining animation on the block I am mining. The animation shows if using a TicCon hammer (for ex.) on the surrounding 8 blocks but not on the targetted one.
I've loaded in the base pack first, then have this patch above it in the load order, had no issues with a x64 amalgamation of the various individual mod patches but as I'd been having issues (thus the downgrade) I noticed you'd worked your magic in making a full mod patch (you are amazing!) and grabbed it a little while ago :)
So if you wouldn't mind continuing to work your magic by telling me what I have done wrong? :(
