You can't post a direct link to a patched Optifine as it breaches Optifine's copyright.
You must link to the post about how to patch it.

@LightHero sry for false info about bug.. i guess, was ...assets\switches64\assets\switches... instead of ..assets\switches.. . my bad.

@HanFox - oops...thanks for being an awesome mod and helping me out with that sort of stuff!
Would be a breach to post a direct download link to both the patch itself and the Optifine file itself or am I only allowed to post the link to the site?

It would be best to link to the Optifine thread and to the patch post as that way people know what they're getting.

Then you'd have permission to do so from him and as long as you had a screenshot of proof then I'd have no issue with it.

o0o - Thanks for the information. I know it's insane, but, I did write him a very long detailed message asking for permission....when I say long, it almost looked like a contract...I guess it technically is. Anyways, until I receive a yes (if ever), then I have posted the link. Thanks again HanFox...I only want to contribute...not cause issues! LOL
