That's bewilderingly annoying. The part I'm expecting just doesn't seem to appear in the logs... which is odd, because I asked for logs on the Hatfilms forum and someone posted one with what I did expect...

Going to have to do it the old fashioned way I guess... Can you load a world, press F3 and take a screenshot? Basically just looking at the numbers in the top right of the screen which is the used/assigned RAM/memory. If it's assigning correctly it'll say something similar to xxxx/11000 MB (or so).
I took a screenshot; it's weird, it says I'm only using about 2.2 GB, when in the FTB Launcher I've set it to about 11.0. Here:

Yea, you're using 2.2GB out of the set amount of 10GB. Which is fine for 16x textures in a new world.

I was really hoping for whatever reason it just wasn't allocating correctly, but you have 10GB and it still doesn't work. I only assign 3GB for 64x and it works fine.

I will say Optifine is now B4, not A4, but I'd be surprised if that were the culprit.

Considering you have 12GB of RAM I'd guess your laptop's graphics are decent, so that likely isn't an issue either (and rarely stops textures loading it just usually causes visual corruptions).

I can only suggest trying to reinstall the HatPack (delete the folder and redownload it -- back up any saves first), update Optifine, make sure Java is up-to-date to Java8u25 x64, and that your graphics drivers are up-to-date.

Can you also allocate more RAM to Java? Perhaps that may help?

Hatpack just wasn't working with it, so I tried Resonant Rise 3 again. It seems certain mod patches - not the whole thing - are individually causing problems, so I've taken up the painstaking task of going through every single mod patch and testing the textures to find out which ones are acting up. So far I've found out how to fix Tinker's Construct and Extra TiC; many more to go.
But thanks again for your help; if you want me to keep working with your suggestions to find out the Hat Pack problem, I'll gladly do it.
As for Hat Pack, I've updated to the newest version, and gotten the latest Optifine. I have Java 8 Update 25, and all my drivers have automatically updated. I've also gone into my normal vanilla minecraft folder and installed forge, installed all the mods found in Hat Pack, and tried the texture patch there. No luck.

There's never been a 128x link from what I recall.

As for the broken link it's now fixed. Stupid Google with their stupid policies.

Thanks for taking care of that, Han. I've given up on updating the pack now, and haven't done so for quite some time. You can take over the post if you wish as I won't be updating it anymore. Cheers.
