Update - Added Skyblock downloads for version 1.2.0. Updated Cooking for Blockheads, Thermal Foundation, Railcraft and Ex Compressum.

Also added download for Infinity Evolved version 2.6.0. Updated Thermal Foundation, Railcraft and added Extra Tic Immersive Engineering support.
If anyone would like to take over any of my threads please contact me. I will continue to host what I have done but expect no further updates.

Having issues getting the 128x version to take.

It's crashing as the Railcraft patch doesn't match the version of Railcraft that's in the modpack.

Marcontian, which version of infinity are you using? Is it the skyblock or Evolved. Which texture pack version have you downloaded?

That is correct. I completely derped. After downloading Novamanga's Sphax_Infinity_SkyBlk_128x_V1.2.0 I had failed to update it in my resource pack folder. However after properly updating the resourcepack folder to include Sphax_Infinity_SkyBlk_128x_V1.2.0. It still wont load. I'm seeing this now.

Line 20886 suggests you're running out of system memory or video memory.

Try the 64x textures.

Indeed...it would appear as though the FTB launcher does not like the RAM slider. I manually updated the launch argument to be -Xmx12288m -Xms256m -XX:PermSize=256m in the curse launcher which made this pack work. It was definitely a RAM issue. It seems that regardless of what the FTB launcher slider suggests. It caps at 6 gigs...even with a manual argument in the advanced options.

Odd...

Okay, this gets a bit strange but bear with me: if I have the patch enabled, my FPS drops below 5 if there are animals in my field of view. If I turn away from the animals or kill them, the framerate immediately gets back to >40.

I'm using the latest x64 patch (2.6.0) from the top of this thread. I'm going to experiment with older versions and will report back.

EDIT: After some detective work I was able to find out that there are versions of the patch that do not trigger the problem for me. Also, any animal triggers the problem.
  • "Sphax_Infinity_64x_V2.6.0" does not work
  • "Sphax_Infinity_64x_V2.5.0" works!
  • "Sphax_Infinity_64x_V2.4.2" does not work
  • "Sphax_Infinity_64x_V2.3.5" does not work
  • "Sphax_Infinity_64x_V2.6.0" does not work
  • "Sphax Infinity 128 - 64x HybridMC17" runs out of memory with 5 gigs
  • "Spahx FTB Infinity 64x Patch" does not work
  • "infinity-064x_v2.0_19-03-15" does not work
  • "Sphax_Infinity_32x_V2.6.0" works!
So I'm going to use the 2.5.0 version of the patch and see if the problem comes back. It might, because I used the 2.6.0 for a couple of weeks before this started to happen. And yes, I have reinstalled Minecraft, the launcher and the modpack from scratch, it didn't effect the problem.
