[128x - 32x] Feed the Beast: Infinity [MC1.7 & 1.10]
Mobile graphics cards are notoriously bad with HD textures, unless you're using a gaming laptop with very high performance cards. The card you're using is at the low end of medium performance. Better then integrated, but only just.Balekin wrote:I think mine is a geforce gt 525m. I tried using the 32x resource pack and it isn't working either, even with 7G of RAM assigned to minecraft. I guess my computer just isn't powerful enough to handle texture packs any more?
3GB worked fine.Balekin wrote:How much ram are you assigning to Minecraft to get the 64x version to work? Like I said above, I was giving it up to 7G and it still wasn't working.SirWill wrote:So I tried to reproduce it with version 1.2 and the 64x version and it just loads fine for me how you can see here:

Unfortunately I can't test the 128x version as I have not enough RAM for it.
i was having problems with this texture pack also. when ever i would use it i would only get about 1 fps. after a lot of messing about and watching what my system was doing i noticed when ever i used this pack my pagefile.sys would get hammered. so i thought to myself what might be new that causes a java machine to go nuts. well i pulled out fastcraft and boom. all was fixed.
i am thinking it has something to do with a certain image format that causes fast craft to go nuts. going to drop a line to the dev and see if they will look in to it. please post if this also fixes your problems with this pack.
Windows 8.1 64bit
java 64bit
geforce 680 TI sli X 2
32 gigs ram.
put your system specs if this fixes your problem. we might be able to track it down.

@lazersgm Interestingly enough, me and my friend are on the same server with the exact same texture patches/mods and for some reason he gets a boost from fastcraft, however it lags me to death. The only difference between our systems is that I have an NVIDIA card and he has an ATI card.
So I'm not particularly sure what's going on with fastcraft. It used to give me a good performance boost but now it's all garbage, worse then without.

Heya guys
With the standard SpHax Pure BD I run between 100-250 FPS in Minecraft.
However, with the infity pack, downloaded from this site I drop to 5-10 FPS.
I have disabled all the textures 1 by 1. IC2 alone gave about 50 fps.
And with just Biomes o' plenty, Railcraft and Chisel 2 enabled, I'm loosing 200 FPS...
Can this really be true?
Can the textures for those 4 mods really eat 200+ FPS?
Im also using optifine.
Running the game from an SSD
Geforce GTX 770
Intel I7 4820K
16 GB ram - allocated to Minecraft
Running the 32 version
Thanks in advance
