Try it without fastcraft if it doesn't help I can't do anything. Texture Packs + mods just needs much performance.

I'm just curious, has anyone out there actually been able to use the 128x pack with decent performance?

I mean I have an i7 4770k/16gb RAM/GTX 970, and it's completely unusable. 5fps, maybe. I understand that when you're talking about an 128x pack with something like FTB Infinity that's obviously going to be pretty demanding....but still.

meh - I can use it and get 'decent' fps on large modpacks like Infinity etc, but...I like a consistent 60 fps (vsync set) when playing. With the 128, frequent drops to about 40 and sometimes lower happen and I just don't like the skips. I'm using optifine within the packs, assigning only 8GB of RAM (the 128 really needs more I believe). My brother had issues when he tried it with fastcraft....instadrop of fps to 1fps, but I don't have that issue...idk why. Probably a hardware compat issue, idk. I have a rather 'old' upgraded computer. Mobo is about 4 years old as well as the cpu itself. It is an i7 2nd gen :( - I did upgrade the RAM to 12GB total, utilizing 8 for MC. Graphics was also upgraded to the GTX 760. I also use ssds.

@SirWill
FTB Infinity updated as well as an updated version of Thermal Expansion. HanFox has updated his patch as well. Go to https://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patch ... -t161.html and please update the official patch for the community. =D

The new 2.0 patch seems to have no pack.png nor mc meta file. And for some reason thermal expansion is out of the assets folder? To be fixed?
