Feed the Beast

The mod pack is centered around mods built on the Minecraft Forge platform. It initially focused on mods of a technical theme, such as IndustrialCraft, Buildcraft, and RedPower. However it then expanded to other genres, such as magic mods like Thaumcraft and Mystcraft.

Info

The texture pack add-on can be used with the current Ultimate, Mindcrack, Direwolf20, Magic World, Tech World, YogCraft, Pax Challenge, and Lite Packs.

How to Install:

  • Download the Latest Sphax PureBDCraft Texture Pack.
  • Download one of the Texture Pack Add-Ons.
  • Copy the Sphax PureBDCraft Texture Pack to your texturepacks folder in the ftb folder.
  • With either Winrar or 7zip, open up both files. Drag and drop the folders from the Texture Pack Add-On into the Texture Pack zip file.
  • In Feed the Beast, select the Texture Pack.

I'm using mindcrack and the textures for the solar helmet and ultimate solar helm are there but the advanced solarhelmet has no icon and when i equip it it has default texture.just to let you know i'm using 64x64 texture pack and addon.another thing to tell you is that in direwolf20 the solar helmets have an icon and have the sphax texture.

It seems like you may need to make an Ultimate FTB texture pack separate from the Direwolf pack. The textures for them exist in the texture pack, but they don't apply to the items as they should. Some items had their names and ID changed such as the following;

Advanced Solar Panel, Hybrid Solar Panel, and Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panel.

The folders I see solar related things are cpw and advsolar.

For those looking for textures to BiblioCraft in MC 1.4.7, I've been able to rearrange the file structure for the existing textures within the WIP BiblioCraft archived thread fairly easily aside from the bookshelves textures and the tape measure. As well, I was able to copy the zombie texture from the main pack into the BiblioCraft textures folder. Most of the BiblioCraft textures from the MC 1.5x version can be restructured into the correct file structure for MC 1.4.7, so one may wish to include such a changed file structure for the MC 1.4.7 version of this patch.

I don't know how to host a zip file anywhere or how to post an image, but the process isn't that involved to stitch textures back together the way they are in the default textures from the ones made by others. I was able to use GIMP to do just that; somewhat easy to use, free program that works somewhat like Photoshop.

Sorry I can't post my altered textures at this time, but if someone could teach me how (through PM or whatever), I'd be willing to give it a shot.

You need to read the "How to Install" section in the OP.

Thanks, never heard of it until now.

Anyway, I was able to set up a drop box link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jcpyipx6k6ysv ... %2064x.zip

This probably isn't the place for the patch I made for this specific mod, but I couldn't find another Bibliocraft specific topic. The archive I linked is an adaptation of the patch posted by Opt1kal in the archived forums here: https://bdcraft.net/forum/wip-bibliocraft?page=5

Textures should fit a 64x resolution. I merely altered the file structure and stitched a few of the texture files together with GIMP. A similar restructuring process could be used for the various 128x resolution types found within the archived topic. Hope this helps for the further completion of the patch pack in 1.4.7 before it's made obsolete when 1.5's FTB finally becomes stable enough.

Feel free to do a better job on the textures than I did. This was only a temporary first attempt at fixing my own texture pack. Don't be surprised if this is my last and only submitted texture patch.

PS: Doh! I've just seen the upload attachment area down at the bottom of the post editor. >_< Oh well.
