Hi All,
A big "Thank You" goes out to Rednic from me, for putting in the effort to make this Pack. I'm an FTB Unleashed Player ATM. I was playing DW20's pack but as FTB progresses so do I.
I have a couple issues and was wondering if its just me, or the pack. I am wondering if anyone else is having same issues.
One: The ME Controller GUI. Not lining up with Items on Hotbar.
Two: The Advanced Computer. Missing Texture. This one is a Weird One. Works until I access the Inside of it. Or it could be the downloaded CC script I'm running?
Anyway made a quick vid of my problems and am interested if anyone else is getting the same problem.
Any Help would be appreciated.

PS: Would love to see a few more Updates of this pack. Downloaded and merged with pack already the DartCraft Update. Awesome Work. Got sick of looking at those Ugly Force Gems.

When I load up the 64x version of this on my FTB unleashed game, the textures for molten metals are replaced with Texture Missing instead of the actual texture, is there something I can do to fix this?

Thanks for any help!! :)

What I did was patch in from the Tinker's Construct specific patch:
https://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patch ... -t772.html

Pretty much fixed it for me.

I don't know if the problem is already fixed, but i still get the the known '1024' crash, when i run FTB Unleashed with Sphax 128x + this patch + Optifine D5. Without Optifine, everything works very well, but with it, i get the crash. Same thing if i have Optifine installed, and want to get the Texturepack working. Then I can't change the texturepack, so it will stick on the Deafult-TP. The strange thing is, i can play with, for example, the Soartex TP + their FTB patch. There are no missing textures and it runs very well with Optifine! I can't explain myself why. Can anyone help me? Is this just a thing with Sphax?

Since optifine is widely used I'm surprised Sphax isn't at least putting pressure on Sp614x to get this fixed. I know Sp614x knows about it and has known for sometime about it, but no fix has been forthcoming, it's almost like no-one cares about 1.5 anymore. :(

You got it, buddy. Everyone's trying to update and mod for the newest version. Always. It's happened to 1.4.x when 1.5 came out; it's happening now too. Trouble is, the next packs don't come out until there's a sizable amount of each pack updated for the new version. I've seen videos of some of the newer/updated mods coming around and there's major changes to them on the way; means the tp authors have to work even harder to cover up missing textures, vanilla textures, and various other things that bog down an experience with their tp.

And, as always, don't forget the number one rule; real life happens. This is a hobby for some authors of mods and tps. Anything happening in their real lives can slow down any updates they plan to put out. Putting pressure on an author of a mod or pack can only make a situation worse... unless they don't have a life to get to and they're just being lazy.

...Getting off topic. I don't know what Sp614x is doing, but it seems he's trying to get Optifine working well with 1.6 rather than 1.5. Leftover bugs always happen when it's a mod with versions in each new game version of any game. Authors can't catch everything before it's time to move onto modding the next game version. Let's hope he's planning on expanding the number of textures per mod for the next version of Minecraft at least.

You're absolutely right, 1.5 is on its way to dying out, but that's because minecraft is perpetually updating. Old versions will inevitably get phased out of the development process. This is just a fact we all have to live with.

Regardless of the phasing out of 1.5, there are still a lot of people who use it due to mod packs needing to have every last mod updated before they can advance.

Honestly it shouldn't be tough to fix this as it is likely just a variable which can be changed.

Basically, there isn't really a reason for him NOT to fix this bug as it is so simple.

You can't say something like "It's so simple" because you don't know exactly how many parts of the code rely on the change he'd have to make. Programming has a lot to do with dependency. You write one bit of code that depends on another, which depends on another. If you change one part and the code that depends on that code is expecting the original value, then you have a problem.

And that's not even taking into account all the new features that might depend on that piece of code and when that happens, it's often times easier to just write an entirely new implementation based on the new code, then to have to create two different implementations. Also too, once a new stable version of the software is released, the old code is no longer priority and in some cases, deleted.

As you can see, a lot of work goes into programming with its various paradigms and methodology.
