FTB Ultimate Reloaded is one of FTB's lighter 1.12.2 modpacks based around the original Ultimate that was released on Minecraft 1.4.7 over 5 years ago. Ultimate was one of FTB’s largest and popular modpacks of its time and players spent months making large factories, farms, railcraft rail networks and getting their feet wet with magic in Thaumcraft. Fast forward to 2019 and the FTB Team has remastered Ultimate in a 1.12.2 modpack named Ultimate Reloaded.

How to Install

Show
Please understand this is an addon for the PureBDcraft texture patch which will need to be downloaded separately here. Place both of these in your resourcepacks folder and select both to get the textures in game.

Known issues
1. Make sure you have allocated enough RAM to the game to run a large texture pack. This will vary depending on the resolution you have selected. The numbers below are a guide and need more or less depending on your computer.

128x - This will usually require Optifine to work and at least 14 - 16 GB of RAM allocated. Optifine may cause rendering issues. If this is the case download the 64x version and remove Optifine.

64x - Allocate 8 to 10 GB.

32x - Allocate 6 - 8 GB

If after using these you still cannot get the patch to run, use a lower resolution.

2. When selecting the new packs the first time the way the Texture Atlas (The large sheet Minecraft transfers all the textures to for use in game) may not form correctly, causing textures to appear in the wrong place. Restart the game, this will let Minecraft load the textures on to a clean Texture Atlas and hopefully will fix any glitches.

3. For any other issues please see the Help Centre page.

Thanks so much for the pack! ^_^ Was looking for a decent one everywhere to start my New World.
So far only found missing texture for Refined Iron, the rest seems to be complete! Though I didn't progress too far yet :P

Thanks for this texture pack! Used BDCraft in tekkit legends, and now I cannot play any modpack without it! Thank you for bringing it to FTB Ultimate reloaded :)

Are the Project X 2's ores supposed to look like this?

Now, this is where you have to ask yourself, does this look like the preview image Nova put on the download page? Answer - No. So then you have to ask yourself, what can I do to fix it?

Maybe if this was the first time you activated the textures and the texture map did not form properly so closing and restarting the game might fix it, or maybe you have not allocated enough memory to the game. Maybe you are using Optifine with is known to screw around with the way graphics are rendered in modded minecraft. Who knows? I only make textures, I do not write Java code and have no idea why these things happen.

Look man, I don't use texture packs since finding a matching addon for mods is a pain in the ass so I don't know what goes on when installing them. I don't know what textures are supposed to look like in a large pack featuring tons of different mods, or common trouble shooting methods. To me, the ores look like they are supposed to be glowing or something, which would be super cool, so I thought it might be a bug with that.

I thought I had restarted the game last night before posting those, but I must not have since I tried a restart today and it was fine after that.

so just coming back to Minecraft/FTB after a 5 year break but I cant seem to get the Resource Pack to load... I downloaded both 32 & 64 … pressed esc … clicked Resource Packs … open resource pack folder … dragged it in … added it to "Selected Resource Packs" (at the top) and clicked done … it tried to load … after a few seconds it just popped back into the game still in Default... am I doing this wrong for FTB?

Be sure to have the main PureBDCraft pack installed for Vanilla Minecraft 1.12, and this FTB Ultimate Reloaded pack patch loaded above that.
At first I also thought this was the full complete package for the pack lmao
