The TuxWeapons mod is still Vanilla. I tried to add a patch in myself but it didn't work. Please can someone help!
I have tried to patch TuxWeapons as well but it seems not to like to be patched. You can try to force it by dragging the patched files directly into the mod, but be aware that this can result in the mod being corrupted. I advise you to make a backup so you can restore it if necessary.

I downloaded the correct texture pack and the moonquest patch for it, and followed the install instructions to the letter (the same as patching pretty much any other modpack, which I've done before), but when I select the resource pack in the MC menu, it stops for a few seconds then resumes as if I didn't click the sphax resourcepack at all. I have 16GB allocated to run MC so that shouldn't be a problem. I've run other modpacks with no problems, but this is the first one I've had a problem with. Any insight on how to solve it would be appreciated.

EDIT: Tried re-installing the modpack, texturepack and texturepack patch and now instead of just not doing anything, it now crashes MC completely when clicking on the resourcepack in the MC menu. I have 16GB allocated to MC so it should be working

Did you allocate it to Minecraft only or did you allocate it in the launcher from which you are running the modpack? If you are using the Technic Launcher, there should be a small gear in left corner of the modpack and if you click on it you can choose how much ram is being used.

I did it through the technic launcher, not vanilla MC

And you are sure you are using Java 64 bit?

Yep. It must be a problem with the launcher, because I installed the ATLauncher and everything works fine on that platform.

I downloaded this, but I have the mod pack on At Launcher, because My computer cannot run your version. When I installed the patch for the textures, I had the BD craft texture for all the mods and stuff, but not for vanilla minecraft! If you could please help me, do so!

You need to download the base Sphax texture pack aswell as the patch is only an addon which makes the mods textures sphaxified.
