Using this 128x pack and getting horrible framerates. FX-8350, 32GB RAM (6 allocated), GTX970, 850 EVO. Only getting about 12 fps. Have optifine installed. Same without it. Anyone have any problems with fps or suggestions?

yea I'm having the same problem, I can only run the x32 @ 60fps, but when I try the other patches I get only 1-4 fps.

After a bunch of testing I've narrowed all of my framerates issues to this down to this patch. I also had the same problem with a TPPI2 patch. Not sure why. I might compare the list of mods to see which is similar and try to narrow down the cause.

I also did some testing and i found that whenever anisotropic filtering setting is turned on my fps tanks, I also made minecraft run as admin, but I dont have any evidence that that improved frame rate. Another thing I did was extract both the patch and the sphax resource pack, merged them, then used the best .zip compression. Again, dont know if that did anything, but definitely turn off anisotropic filtering if you're having fps issues.

Can you make one for Project Ozone 2 as well? I'm sort of dying without having Sphax in my life for it

First of all you will need to allocate around 6 to 8GB of RAM. My computer uses around 7GB but I'm still only a couple of days in so expect it to use more as you build more infrastructure.

That is done via the settings menu on the Curse launcher. Select Minecraft and scroll down to the memory allocation slider.

Also make sure you have downloaded the Vanilla texture pack and selected that as well.

If you are still stuck look here for more information.
