or how use 128x Blocks AND 128x Items?
First, make sure you're installing your textures correctly by following the guide here:
https://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-help/ ... t1093.html

Lastly, in order to use both resolutions, you have to actually take the resolutions from the lower resolution texture packs and mix/match them up in the archive. If you can't figure it out, you'll just have to use the resolution that works best for you.

There is already a step by step, videos and tips in the "how to install" section in the op. ;)

I should've been more clear. I am having trouble getting this to work even with the directions. I am placing the patch folder into the original Sphax folder, using winrar, but when I go to the minecraft menu and try to select sphax nothing happens at all

Has no secrets my friend. ;)

- First, you must allocate more memory for hexxit or your game will crash or not load the textures correctly. As I said, you can do this using the launcher. The amount of memory used depends on the texturepack resolution that you will use. (I recommend a minimum of 2GB for 128x with the graphics on fast):

Note: Install the java x64 (if your OS is x64), make sure you have ram available on your system, otherwise you can not be able to increase the memory in the launcher. You also need a good video card to run the x128/x64.

- Make sure you downloaded the correct texture pack base. Hexxit uses the texture pack for MC 1.5.2:

- Download the latest patch for Hexxit

- Copy / drag the contents of the file "Sphax_hexxit_xxx(1.1). zip" into the "Sphax PureBDCraft XXX MC15.zip" using a archive program such as 7zip or WinRAR.:

- Open the game, go to texturepack options, open the texturepack folder and move the file "Sphax PureBDCraft XXX MC15.zip" that you patched to the texturepacks folder. The texturepack with the Sphax logo should appear:

- Select the Sphax texturepack and restart the game (this avoids problems with the connected textures of the artifice mod).

I finally got it to work, but I have noticed that chunks load farely slow for me and i see into the world alot, I have already allocated Technic Launcher 6GB just bc my Ram is 16GB and i dont usually have anything going when playing minecraft. Any tips on how I could remedy this? I am not lagging, and has tweaked all my settings to be rather minimal and have also went and done the 64x sphax just in case this affected the chunks loading, but still not much better

sometimes this happens, are also common in hexxit some lags when new chunks are loading (because of the structures), even without the texturepack.

I recommend keeping the "advanced OpenGL" disabled. When chunks start to load slowly, quit to the title and log back in your world.

If you go into full screen mode it will reduce lag. I had the same problem... I just went into full screen mode quit my world and reopened it and everything was showing fine.
