You should download the update 2.1 in 64x. Tell me which mod has white outlines and I'll fix it immediately. "Very present" isn't just not very specific - it's just not true. It's definitely better than the 1.1 and is almost completely built up from scratch, without any resizing.

Pesti I've had a look in game at your latest version. The only issues I can see with white lines is the blood magic patch. This looks like the early version I made. If you update and use Nintendo37's latest 1.7 64x patch, it works fine, then this should tidy that problem up.

The only other issues are you are missing the engineers toolbox patch and the jewellery folder in mariculture items is the wrong res. Someone has resized it but it was already at 64x and it had some vanilla textures in it when it was resized.
If anyone would like to take over any of my threads please contact me. I will continue to host what I have done but expect no further updates.

I figured it would be best to list problems I am seeing:

-mariculture rings and bracelets are black squares
-some ars magica runes are untextured
-some ex nihilo items have white borders (pulverized/broken ores)
-some blood magic items have white borders (catalysts, foci)
-nothing in resonant induction is textured
-nothing in hardcore ender expansion is textured

I'm using the latest 2.1 version x64 of both your patch and sphax.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't know the other link lead to a completely different version. You should probably change that so as to not confuse others. I downloaded the 2.1 now instead of the 2.0.1 and all the new texture additions are showing up. The white border items I listed above however still seem to be present in case you want to check up on those. It's not a huge issue but in some cases it is more noticeable than in others.

Ok, I'll look into these. And I'm not a texture artist myself. If nobody made textures for a specific mod yet then I can't implement them.

Just saw that I have to combine the Ars Magica 2 textures with the legacy ones. Well, I'm not good at resizing - could anybody resize these textures? They're only available in 128x. Otherwise, we all have to deal with missing textures for some of the runes until a full patch is released.

Edit: Nevermind. I've just put the 128x textures in the 64x version of the patch - works fine. Ars Magica 2 is still a WIP, you can see that on the occulus.

New update! v2.2
  • updated Ars Magica 2
  • updated Blood Magic
  • updated Ex Nihilo
  • updated Mariculture
If you find any weird textures / white outlines / black squares, let me know!

I'm new to all this so I'm just wondering is it meant to have vanilla textures or not because mine doesn't and if it isn't supposed to then how do i get vanilla textures as well as the textures for the mods. Playing on a mac

You need to merge the vanilla textures for 1.6 with the mod textures. Because of the license they're not included.

Um...is there any way to get it to work on Macintosh? I don't really use Windows except for school, and I use a Mac for Minecraft on both my laptop and desktop. I want to be able to play with this patch, but whenever I try to use Sphax with the patch, it has a bunch ofpick, blue and other coloured squares where item should be, but things like mob heads are perfectly fine. If anyone could help me, that'd be great. :)

Peace, love, and tridents!

I think there are some tutorials on how to patch on Mac. Just search the forum for a bit - it's somewhere.

Ok, so I looked through the pages on here, and I saw you had a 64x resolution download thing? Should I use that instead of the ones on the main thread? I'm only asking because I think that's the issue I'm having with the pack.

I took over the thread. So if you're going to download the newest version from the first post you're good to go. But even the old versions aren't completely broken - just the overall quality of the textures is worse. You're having a different problem. A problem that only other Mac users can help you with.
