Blood Asp has made an "unofficial but approved" update to GregTech 5 (while Greg himself has started on version 6): https://forum.industrial-craft.net/index ... adID=11488

I'd appreciate it if someone is willing and able to make a bdcraft-style resource pack that includes the new machines (as well as the machines brought back from GT4 and the GT crops).

Note: I'm aware of the rules regarding requesting updates to existing patches, but GT5u somewheat blurs the line between being an update and being a separate mod, plus I posted to the GT5 patch thread already, and haven't gotten a reply in over a month, leading me to think the patch may have been abandoned.

As you have already hinted at you're aware that this request could be against the Rules.

GregTech Unofficial is just considered one and the same so requests should only be made in the current thread as if anyone did make the patch that would be where it would have to be posted anyway.
