I found an archived post with an old patch for this mod: https://bdcraft.net/forum/142v01coloured-blocks-mod
I haven't determined exactly what Minecraft version those patch files are for, but presumably pre-1.5, since they discussed issues with the sprite sheet, and 1.5 started using separate files instead of pre-assembled sprite sheets.

128x resolution would be sufficient for me, thanks.
