It's best to use pastebin to post log reports instead of making people download the file :) The first thing I would try is removing Optifine to see if that fixes the issue.

You may also want to remove the old version of java (probably not the cause of the issue, but....). In your log it shows "Java is Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.7.0_45." Are you trying to launch the game with the texturepack enabled already, are you in a game when trying to change the texture pack, or is it just at the startup menu in minecraft that you are trying to change the texture pack. I've seen issues with texture packs, but, it normally doesn't cause crashes; it's rare, but, can happen. Generally other things, ie Optifine, can cause crash issues when combining texture packs (or just in general).

I usually do use pastebin, this was too big as i am not a premium member
I am trying to change the tp in game from the menu
IDK how to remove Optifine, or install MC patcher
JAVA was updated by its own updater so i doubt there is an older version, if there is its the version that ISN'T glitchy with the launcher.
Also, there is no crash... its just the console output at the time i tried to switch.

oh - so does it revert to default textures? and java has a horrible auto update system...it never removes old versions, and normally only updates the 32-bit version automatically. Check your add-remove programs list for multiple versions of java - remove all except most recent (keep 1 of each: 32-bit/64-bit) - btw - I can't even d/l minetek in the launcher :( Gives error

you did install optifine, correct? All you have to do to remove it is reset the modpack

yes it does revert to the default texters
I will try removing java, but it has to be 64 bit, as I have allocated 5 GB of RAM.
the minetek soldar thingy goes down sometimes, you may have tried at a down point in the system. Try it again when its online. Also, I used to get a weird error from iBoss security, but that was resolved when they started using the noahnet thing.

PS: no i didnt install optifine it comes with the pack by default

Yes - you will need 64-bit - I only mentioned that you can have the 32-bit as well because some, like myself, use applications that required 32-bit java as well :) If Optifine comes with the pack, I guess you should leave it alone :O Once I can download minetek, I can test it out myself :)
