This mod rewrites how ores work. Instead of all ores having the appearance of default stone, they can also be found as granite, andesite, and diorite. Other stone and ore types can be added from the config file, with ores requiring a texture to work properly.

Textures in this mod are handled by placing overlays of each ore type on top of the stone texture. This means that whenever I use this mod alongside BDcraft, the default ore textures are placed on top of BDcraft's stone.

And if I use OptiFine, the color of the stones won't update to fit the current biome, unlike regular stones.

So this patch could either be easy to make, very difficult, or completely impossible, depending on how far it goes. At the very least, it would need the PSDs for BDcraft's ore textures, and hopefully it would work with OptiFine as well. But if we were to dive into compatibility with ores from other mods, there could be a nearly endless amount of textures to add, which could easily exceed the number of mods that are compatible with this by default.

If people send me their texture PSDs, I should be able to put this together myself. But I may need helping making it OptiFine compatible.

The easiest way to make it OptiFine compatible is to just disable "Custom Colours" in your Video Options.

Otherwise you'll be adding all the ores to the color.properties file in the main pack zip.

Some of the PSDs for ores are available here: https://github.com/BDcraft-Patches/Pure ... Foundation

As for iron, gold, etc. you could just use a PSD and colour match the base pack. I guess you could do that for mod ores, too.
