I'm using minecraft 1.8.8 and Cubik says 0.95 Beta, it should be the latest -- edit -- Ooooh, I just looked at something, do I need 0.93 for 1.8.8 and 0.95 for 1.9?? ;) Mojang changed the way views on models work so in 1.9, models pretty much need to be reworked entirely. So DON'T throw the models ...

So, I know that different blocks are opaque or transparent, and editing 3D models for transparent blocks is fine. For example, ladders and beds won't cause problems. However, when I created a model for an opaque block, any unused space had x-ray vision behind it, of sorts. :( (as seen here and here...
