As requested I have made a 128x pack for Project Ozone 3. I will now say this once, and once only. If you cannot get the 128x pack to work, use the 64x. 128x Project Ozone 3 128x I have also updated the 64x and 32x with new Mekanism textures to fix the model issues with Mekanism's latest version.
Ok, lets sort this out. There are only 2 textures made for Bonsai trees. These are the pots themselves, that's it. If the mod is not correctly making the tree models then it is nothing to do with the texture pack its a problem with the mod. If there is a problem with the mod, try asking the mod auth...
Maybe. The amount of problems 128x seems to create with people not being able to run it and then complaining and asking why is starting to grind on me. I'll think about it. I'm working till Saturday, so there won't be any release before then.
I tested this myself with the 64x pack and I have tried multiple different saplings with no problems. Are you using Optifine? If so, as I have said before, it can cause all sorts of issues with rendering. If not maybe some more RAM allocated might fix it. Also the first time you activate the texture...

If you download my All the Mods Remix pack you will find what I have done in there for this mod there. I may release it at sometime.

After setting up a custom world on Twitch and adding the appropriate sphax 128x patches, I can confirm it seems to be fine. Are you having an issue with it?
