Don't know what version of eplus you're trying but the first GUI works fine in 1.5 and that one immediately above looks all wrong for the version I'm playing. Also mods/eplus/gui does not work in EnchantingPlus-1.15.5 it took me a while to figure out why the textures weren't being picked up. PS that...

Files in the wrong place in the 1.5 (yes 1.5 packs)

JUST the gui folder needs moving to \assets\eplus\textures\gui

I repeat just in case you was wondering this is for MC 1.5 (not 1.6 packs).

FYI v1.116 for MC1.5 64x has a few black backgrounds but the 128x doesn't, I simply downsized the 128 to 64 and it fixed the issue.

It's a problem with optifine and a full texturepack for all the mods in the mod pack. Remove optifine or Sphax or use a pack with less textures in it. But in case it's not the problem I mention you can try running FTB without optifine and see if it chooses the Sphax texturepack or not.

Omg people stop putting original 16x16 textures in packs, just think what happens when you do a global resize from a 128 to a 64 or 32 to those 16x16 images.

You don't need to put in original textures if a texture is not present in a texturepack the original is read from the mod jar/zip file.

I guess you're using optifine and it the texture limit it's hit?

If you switch to default and try and change to Sphax in game just it just ignore the Sphax pack and stay on default?
