I downloaded the 1.6.4 version for this somewhere but can't find the post/link anymore.
Please note that if you do find the 1.6 download that the assets\projectred\textures\items\parts\partcolordust.png files got renamed to illumar0 through to 15.

Don't know if this is still being worked on but this mod (in 1.6) overwrites vanilla wood/stone/iron/gold/diamond tools and armor.
You need to take the original Sphax textures for the above and place them in metallurgy\textures\items\Vanilla and rename to the Metallurgy format.

Red and blue arrows on itemduct conduits haven't scaled down well (to 64x) and are really blurry and not crisp.
