It sort of annoys me that we never got a backport for 1.12 and that the developers skipped right on to 1.13. Will this ever change?

From the feedback thread:
Versions for MC1.11 and MC1.12 may come later.
Entirely depends on finding time to do it amongst MC1.14 and constant Bedrock updates.

Also there are no tools to backport packs from MC1.13 that I'm aware of and a lot changed between MC1.12 and MC1.13.

Is there are any particular reason you want the pack for MC1.12? Is it for mods? Most will probably migrate to MC1.14 once it's ready.

It's mostly because of the compability issues more than anything in the 1.13 pack and the lack of some content in the 1.10 pack.

There is no particular reason for me but simply the vanilla BDcraft is too good. All the mod are stuck at mc 1.12.2 and I play lots of mods and modpacks. I understand focusing on 1.14 may be the best options for you. However, there are tons of people that playing mods only on 1.12.2. I really wish I have vanilla BDcraft for MC1.12. I counldn't find any other things to replace it. I am still playing MC1.12.2 with default texture package.

So no 1.12.2 port ..
I see there is a 1.13 why in the world did they skip 1.12?!?
The mods are over on 1.12 not updating to newer minecraft versions just because the dev can't properly update there packs!!
I waited a while to see this get a update to 1.12 to then see they skipped it. Patience my butt now I am just annoyed!

well guess its time to give up on this dev & find a another texture pack dev that actually cares to NOT SKIP VERSIONS!!
Should of Known they were not gonna do 1.12 waste of time waiting !!!
Though they will keep up with the paid one I bet you & actually put out proper versions for ALL NEEDED VERSIONS there because MONEY.

Actually the one on Bedrock hasn't been updated in just as long, but that doesn't really have versions like Java does.

However, it may surprise you to learn updating 2 resourcepacks for 2, basically, different games takes time and -- shock of shocks -- we have other responsibilities as well!

VanillaBDcraft missed versions on Java because the original creator quit. He wanted to do other things. Sphax and I basically overhauled it entirely for MC1.13.

I was going to backport after the MC1.14 version was out in the coming weeks, but now I don't know if I want to and everyone can thank you for that :'(

k then I shall use the other one.
People Don't understand frustration much it seems & thats fine.
I was patient for a while & seeing the 1.13 before the 1.12 what was I gonna think.
But that's fine as it Seems the other sphax has better mod support anyhow.
For a Dev to not update & to blame on the one frustrated human is kinda low what a nice dev u is.

You can be frustrated, but I'm really not sure what you think will happen when you go to the devs and basically call them crap.

Are they going to scrape and grovel at your feet and spew forth numerous apologies and then beg you to not leave and they'll release it as soon as possible if you just, please, stay?

People like you need to learn creators of games, resourcepacks, comics, movies, etc. aren't here just to serve you like slaves.

Next time you feel frustrated vent it to your friends on Discord, but don't drag devs in to it when you have no idea what they have going on in their lives which is delaying a release.

We're obviously pretty blown away by the fact people get frustrated by missed versions, but sometimes we just can't do it as quickly as you want and - somewhat ironically - we apologise for that.

Regardless, we were never going to delay anything because of one person like you and you must feel very self-important to think we would :)
