I'm having trouble getting this pack working for DW20 1.12. After installing, most of the blocks are still using their vanilla textures. I know the standard answer for this is "you don't have enough resources for the pack," but it seems like I should. I'm using the 32x version, I have a Geforce GTX 1060 with 6GB of video RAM, and I'm allocating 11gb of system RAM in the launcher. Does it make sense that that wouldn't be enough to load the 32x textures?

Are you running 64 bit Java. Without that you will only ever get 2GB allocated. Also are you running the vanilla texture pack as well. You need both to get it to work.

According to my programs list, I have both 32-bit and 64-bit Java installed. I'm coming back to Minecraft after a few years away, and I forget how to make sure Minecraft is pointed at the right Java version, or how to tell what it's using.

And yes, the selected resource pack list also includes the vanilla textures.

Edit: I'm using the Twitch launcher, and after digging around in the settings, it looks like it is set to use 64-bit Java. Still only getting a few textures from the pack, though.

Could you let me know which blocks are not being seen. There are still multiple mods which have not been textured.

It seems to be most of them - dirt, cobble, animals, etc. Only a few blocks seem to be showing. The only blocks I see that are rendering in the new textures are a few ores like copper and aluminum, as well as some machines.

Did you download BDcraft Minecraft pack?
https://bdcraft.net/purebdcraft-minecraft

You need to have that pack to have all Vanilla textures to change to BDcraft + this pack.
So in your Resource folder there should be two zips, like this

A-ha... I did have both of the packs, but while double-checking, I noticed that the base pack's size was nowhere near big enough. It must have not downloaded correctly. Re-downloading fixed it. Thank you!

I dont know much about the coding for these texture packs but i was able to allocate 16gb of ram and the 128x version still didnt work, i did get an incompatibility error with it though. Im wondering if it doesnt have anything to do with the amount of ram cause it only trys to use about 6gb when loading

There is no coding involved with making a texture pack. It is just a zip file containing folders with .png files for each mod. As for it not working on your computer I have no idea. Basically if 128x does not work try 64x.

So Direwolf20 has released a Ver 2 for his MC 1.12 pack. This contains multiple new mods and the previous texture pack I made is no longer compatible, so I made a new one.

Direwolf20 MC1.12 Ver2.0 Enjoy :)
