I don't know about Jake, but I put a request in for a FTB Unleashed modpack patch, though it is looking like I may end up working on it myself. It may take a while since I have to test each texture pack patch individually ... and there are a lot of mods. I may end up doing Direwolf20's pack as well ... but I'm not touching the Unhinged pack ... not even with a 10 ft pole.

It looks like Jake is inactive so if you could continue the compilation of Feed The Beast Sphax Addons it would be greatly appreciated by the community. I've been dying to get a 64x 1.5.2 Unleashed Addon for ages but Jake doesn't look like he's releasing any new updates.

I'll look forward to your compilations.

Edit - JakeyTaylor's last visit to the BDCRAFT forums were on the 29th June, almost a month ago.

Great. I started doing this too (for DW20) but i was beginning to get a bit stuck. I couldn't get both railcraft and buildcraft to work together and i couldn't get ic2 to work at all. Also i noticed that the thermal expansion machines weren't updating the sides when the configuration changed. They always showed all the sides as being blank (neither input nor output). Have you noticed the same thing?

Anyway I'll send you the patch i've completed so far. Hopefully it'll have some you haven't done in it and save you some time.:D N.B. it is very incomplete but it does work.

I am also painstakingly collecting all the textures for the mods which are part of the DW20 1.5 beta pack. Most of them I've found but many of the new mods (and infuriatingly also mystcraft, thaumcraft, twilight forest, etc) are still missing.

I downloaded FTB Unleashed earlier and downloaded the 1.5.2 textpack pack and the patch here (both x128) but when I switched texture packs the game crashed and I couldnt restart it until I removed the texture pack from the folder. Is there anyway to fix this now, I hate the vanilla textures.

Lower the quality? Mess with your graphic settings? I usually run with 64x and turn off any graphic setting that would lower performance; just because this texture pack tends to lag my system all over the place. If it still happens, I dunno what more to tell you.

If you don't have a 64x texture for a thing, you could go in with paint or w/e and down size it by 50% or 25% (for 32x). For UI's you might want to down scale only 50% (for 32x) because 64x packs usually keep those at the highest possible res (not sure how it is in 1.5).

Gotta say, running with a large mod pack AND a high quality, 128x or 64x texture pack takes some high amount of memory and sometimes processing power. Try shutting down other programs that run in the background. Usually if the game CTD's suddenly due to a computer resource issue, it's because it can't process everything and gives up. Lag spikes while playing usually mean lack of memory for a large mod pack and texture pack. Or at least that's what info I was able to find on Google when I had trouble. Hope it helps.

The problem isn't the memory of my computer, it's the fact that the patch crashes the game during the render screen and I don't know how to solve it. Thanks anyway for your help.

If anyone else knows the solution I'd love to hear it.
